The only place in GA I would live is Atlanta. I would not want to live in either Charleston or Savannah. Comparing what's left in GA and SC, the remaining SC metros offer a better QOL in my opinion. I really don't know much about Kentucky so it'd be SC>AL>GA>KY.

In regards to QOL, what stands out? I know they are larger but I'm interested in knowing what really stands out?
And you believe WRONG! Georgia, the largest state east of the Mississippi River, with the most diverse geography and strategic location of any Deep South state, the crossroads of the entire Southeast region since the early 1800s, with 2 deep water ports along a 100 mile ATLANTIC coastline, vast natural resources, rich agricultural production, and the nation's largest forest industry ... WOULD BE MISSISSIPPI without Atlanta?!
So what's Alabama's excuse for being ... Alabama?
New York, North Carolina, and Florida are all bigger than Georgia. And all East of the Mississppi...
Edit: I see Florida's includes water, but still. Either is correct, but land area does nothing for me, it's about how you use it.
The context in which the point was brought up was related to population, which is why the total land area stat is the correct one. Newsboy wasn't 100% clear in that post but I was aware of this stat and knew what he was getting at.
