Much smaller w/out Atl yeah but very comparable to Alabama and South Carolina with a smaller GDP. And W/out Atl i'm sure Georgia's per capita income is similar or a little lower than Alabama and South Carolina. W/out Birmingham Alabama's population would be. 3.7 million and a state GDP of around 148 billion and could tap out at 150. Alabama w/Bham would produce what Georgia would produce w/Atlanta with a smaller population. Alabama 3.7 million Georgia 4.5 million.
Georgia without Atlanta would be a lot more stronger than Alabama without Bham. The second tier cities in Ga would have a higher population and GDP count.
Another what if poll LOL...Why would we take away the dominant city out of one state to attempt to drop it in a tier with other states?....What's next, VA without Hampton Roads vs. Tennessee and Missouri? Illinois without Chicago vs Connecticut and Iowa?

You don't know that but you're entitled to speculate I can't knock that.Hell W/out Bham Huntsville could have grown to the size of Nashville and Mobile the size of Nola. Now as far as what ifs lets use facts and current numbers. The what ifs based off of factual info are Alabama w/out Bham is 3.7 million Georgia w/out Atlanta 4.5 million. Alabama w/out it's Alpha has a GDP of 150 billion Georgia w/out it's Alpha is 157 billion.
I cant believe Kentucky has more votes than Alabama. Maybe because Louisville seems beloved on here.
It's that Louisville lust, and the Alabama stereotypes.
