Why do people follow click bait nonsense like this? Even on a forum where people are supposed to be more informed on this type of subject they really don't have a clue or just plain don't understand how statistics work...

All cities with a majority black or Hispanic population. Stop saying this is racist and face reality.

A) you're wrong

B) it is absolutely racist to assume that race is the cause of violence

So, no, it is not technically racist to point out the demographics, but if that's where your analysis ends, you're probably a bigot.

Cleveland not in the top 25? Perhaps they're not reporting?

obviously there is more to it but race does effect the way you behave not for any biological reason, but because of the social interactions you have with people and the percentage chance your ancestors have less to pass down to you.

And yes, if there are two areas with 50 assaults - one area has 500 people in it and the other has 10,000 people, then the area with 500 people is CLEARLY more dangerous and the odds for anybody there being the victim of an assault statistically is incredibly higher than a person in that 10,000 person area. If you don't understand this then you have a lot to learn about just statistics in general.
The FBI do give stats for cities under 250K and they also disregard RANKING cities based on the various factors behind those stats. I understand that it's a higher CHANCE not more DANGEROUS in which the details are different. Ex: 50 assualts in a 500 could be in one location compare to 50 assualts spread out over 10K and vice versa. Or 50 assualts could be a riot or tourists visiting a city. I understand that there's factors behind a rate , so one is higher than other but not necessary worst.
