We all know that bartending is a very difficult job to get if you have no experience at all and I am asking this because while I work a full time job, I would like to work at a bar or nightclub during the weekend or maybe even on weekdays (I can get by with little sleep) because it is just something I've always wanted to do.

My job also offers me flexibility and will have me moving around a bit in my 20s, people at the place I work at move often for their own benefit and they enjoy that about this job.

The question I have is, of all the cities in the US, which US cities have the best cultural nightlife scene to where getting a job at a bar or in nightlife in general is very doable if you have no experience?

I know NYC is out of the question from what I hear so I was wanting to hear of cities where it is more doable.

Probably Las Vegas or New Orleans? Since I know in both of those respective states those cities are in(Nevada and Louisiana), bars aren't required by law to close at any time, and can be open 24/7 if they want to be. Honorable mention would be somewhere like Miami, New York, and Chicago, since all bars or some(in the case of Chicago allowing a limited number of bars to have 4am(5am on Saturday night/Sunday morning) licenses) are open late.

Depends on the college town.

Finished school in Athens, GA a couple years ago and in order for you to find work at most bars there, you had to be in a fraternity or just be a hot girl. Most other bars did not hire anyone not affiliated with Greek Life.
