Pittsburgh is a city that I should have included on this list. Then again, there are many other cities that I could have included on this list.

Savannah, GA. Not only is it one of the prettiest cities in America, but they are acquiring a patina of progressiveness and sophistication that simply wasn't there 25 years ago. Not to mention that the people are always so welcoming and friendly when I'm there.
I'd move there tomorrow.

St. Petersburg, FL

I like the Tampa Bay. Affordable, friendly people, lots of amenities, low taxes, lots of different social settings all across the area.

I also like the humid, warm to hot weather and the beautiful lushness of the area.

Portland ME but when I do move to Maine it will be way up on the other end of the coastline.

I live in Annapolis and love the area. Annapolis itself it pretty awesome by being 30 minutes to both DC and Baltimore, 2 hours from Ocean City, a few hours to Philly/NYC and the mountains in PA and WV, having several major theme parks within 2 hours etc, this is a really cool place to live.

But if I had to pic another from that list, it would be Minneapolis.

I would to live in Charleston or Savannah. They're both amazing places, with tons of history. I have always loved & enjoyed the more "Southern" areas. The scenery & atmosphere feel like "home" to me.

I'll also throw a vote to Louisville,KY. That's my hometown, and I love/miss it dearly. I WILL move back in the next few years as well.

Yeah, none are in my top five or seven but I picked Philly because it is the most urban and also historic of the bunch.

Of these, I'd live in most of them. However the ones that I'd immediately move to:

1) St Augustine, FL - Warm weather, cool history, near nice beaches and family isn't far.
2) St Petersburg, FL - Same as above, plus a recent influx of younger people moving into the area and affordable housing.
3) Atlanta, GA - Beautiful, green scenery, big city feel in the south, very nice suburbs and strong economy.
4) Greenville, SC - Again beautiful, hilly scenery, growing job market, driving distance to SC beaches.
5) Savannah, GA - Great people, southern hospitality, near beaches
6) Raleigh/Durham, NC - Booming economy, lots of relocated New Yorkers so I wouldn't feel to out of place.
7) The Woodlands, TX - Near Houston which I hear has a great food scene/job market, green, and like the others, warm weather for most of the year.
8) Columbus, OH - College town, good job market, lots of young people and pretty affordable from what I've seen.

I'd have no interest living in:

1) Palm Springs, CA - Great vacation spot, but probably has a pretty dead job market and doesn't have much outside of it.
2) Twin Cities, MN - WAY too cold during the winter
3) Burlington, VT - Again, too cold, and not a fan of Vermont in general.
4) Astoria, Oregon - Not a fan of the PNW (too yuppie/liberal for my taste, and the weather would throw me off) although I googled some pictures and Astoria looks beautiful.
