What do you mean by this? I'd always thought that Charlotte was a smaller splitting image of Atlanta.
Both Nashville and Atlanta are state capitals, have prominent colleges/universities (including HBCUs), are big music hubs, and have more robust tourism sectors. Although they have their similarities, Charlotte isn't a "smaller spitting image of Atlanta" by any means. Both are rapidly-growing business hubs in the Piedmont with some similarities common to the region, but in terms of distinguishing characteristics, Nashville and Atlanta have a bit more in common.
Perhaps. But Charlotte is the "little golden one" and "second-favored daughter" of Atlanta's little siblings.

Agree.. But I wouldn't even say the vibe of ATL and Charlotte are really the same. ATL is quite a bit larger. Racial make-up I think is somewhat similar but Charlotte is not on the main stage as much as ATL is.

Actually the vibes in Dallas and Atlanta share some similarities. You'll often hear people talk about the 'flashiness' of both cities, for example.
I've laid out a few ways in which Nashville is like Atlanta that go beyond simply being state capitals. And understand, we're talking about big sibling/little sibling pairs, not cities that are clones of each other.

I agree with you. I think Charlotte is more similar to Atlanta--like a somewhat similar, much smaller version of Atlanta.
