Seattle is a small town, with a small town mentality, there's no real hustle and bustle like you see in real cities, it's a nice 3rd tier city though.
This poster has proven to be anti-Seattle for whatever reason, yet he/she continues to live there. I think he/she just enjoys trying to get a "reaction" from those who live there. I guess it worked again. Bravo.

lol are you serious? It's by no means NYC or L.A. But downtown is very pedestrian heavy for one, and two it has several urban neighborhoods with night life included. It's a good medium sized city, large by U.S. standards.
No way San Fran beats Seattle in Cuisine. Yeah there is a lot of variety but the freshness of the food here, the seafood, and the affordability of the food is what makes Seattle such a good food scene. In San Francisco every decent meal cost me 25% more than in Seattle for the same quality.
Why? SF is a much more renowned and praised food scene than Seattle overall, hardly debatable at all. The food isn't any fresher especially considering CA has a much larger and more diverse agricultural industry.
Also, both great cities. Two of my favorites. For me it comes down to climate. The two cites (and metro areas) have more similarities than differences imo, but I would take the bay area climate in a heart beat over Seattle's.
Even the climates though are pretty similar, but if you're asking someone who lives in either place I think that they would tell you there is a noticeable difference.
Also if you like history and historical architecture, San Francisco has Seattle beat for that as well. Seattle has had many of it's old buildings demolished and built loads of new multifamily developments to accommodate growth.
Seattle wins for nature in the city, and access to nature. There are two viewable volcanoes, and the Olympic mountain range is breathtaking.

There are actually 3, Glacier Peak is often forgotten, most people don't even realize it's a volcano.
I'm not getting your point. SF has a much larger and denser core.
Also the two have counterparts. Redmond is like a mini Silicon Valley. Downtown Bellevue is a larger version of Downtown San Jose. Tacoma is like a distant Oakland.
That said, Seattle's core is narrowing the gap by building a lot more, and doing it in a dense format with less parking than housing units, and a small fraction of the parking vs. what new buildings add in office workers. We'll never hit the same density levels overall, but the core is starting to have some similarities.

Seriously dude...a larger version of Idaho Falls? That is the most ridiculous thing I have seen on City-Data ever. I can't begin to tell you how wrong that is, but if you believe it, good for you. Idaho Falls is a small version of almost everywhere.
