The Canadian Rockies are the most spectacular and the most imposing as far as climbing and exploring...Although if I had to pick a place to live I'd pick the Tetons in Wyoming or near the San Juan Mountains in Colorado...
You forgot the San Fansisco Peaks of Flagstaff, Arizona.
Some say northern Arizona is considered part of the rockies but i do not think so. If the San Fran Peaks in Arizona were part of this thread though i would vote for it right away. Other than that though the Northern Rockies in Montana are beautiful.
I voted Tetons, but the best part of the Rockies (in the US at least, and which I've visited) is the Wind River range just southeast of the Tetons in western Wyoming. I don't think you can find a better wilderness experience in the lower 48, and the scenery is jaw-dropping!

Nice pic...My brother backpacked aroung the Cirque of the Towers in the Wind River Range and said it was amazing. That's definetely a mountain range on my list to visit...
