Just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday, October 21, officers responded to a shooting on Interstate 220 southbound near Industrial Drive. Officers found two vehicles which had sustained gunfire and a man from one of the cars, suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. 45-year-old Terrell McCord died Tuesday."

I think this link will be interesting for those that wants to look into Chicago's past homicides. It's primary between 1870-1930 and delves into some general history of the city back then. Chicago experience 11,000 homicides within those years overall.

Yes it is and that is an actual fact. What bothers me is why does that FACT bother people like you so much?

Good job by Detroit in reducing homicides, maybe they could even finish with a sub-35 rate for the year; that hasn't happened since 1970! Nearly 50 years
