Why you got set the ceiling that high Birmingham metro getting back with that ceiling. Beside Jackson Metro over half a mill, that should still count LoL.
What going on in Jackson, Mississippi city of 169,000 with nearly 40 murders that more than Newark, NJ
Ugly spike in April, 12 homicides including LiL Lonnie a local rapper, and seems to have drop back to it's typical pace. Overall Jackson been having similar or more murders than Newark. The early 90s was the most hectic time for Jacktown and other major cities in Mississippi; Greenville had 18 murders in 91 i think for a pop of 44K and stayed above 10 throughout the 90s. Meridian, Hattiesburg, Gulfport, and Greenwood all hit record highs.

From what I've been told, Jackson is basically a mini Chicago when it comes to street stuff (at least amongst Black people)...I believe Larry Hoover was actually born in Jackson...add that to the old Mississippi to Chicago link during the Great Migration and it provides a glimpse into Jackson's street side
