As Summer coming to close it time for massive updates for numerous cities. Crime has been down this year compare to last year but few cities has seen spike in violent crime.

NYC is at 200---murders has increase by 2% this year but it slow down as the weather changes The Bronx, Northern Queens, Northern Brooklyn has drive city numbers
LA----at 181 on track for under 300 this year
Chicago 366---same time in 2017 it was 481 the city is on track for 530ish murders total for 2018 which is on par with 2012 it is improvement since 2015 still too high.

Most crime in Astoria is isolated in the Projects beside that neighborhood is quiet
