I don't believe that poll. CO is much more dog-loving than TX, and yet CO doesn't show up and TX is supposedly third. Bogus.

I'm not too sure what the poll asked, but I would imagine most people would consider those kind of dogs "livestock" closer to pets. That sounds really awful too, but I'm a softy when it comes to animals.
