Both cities have an impressive amount of black people doing well, but it's certainly more pronounced in Atlanta. Atlanta is THE black metropolis.
Seriously?
Atlanta is the NEW Black metropolis. It is not Detroit. It is not Chicago. It is not New Orleans. It is not St. Louis. It is not Cleveland. It is not Harlem. And it is not DC.
Atlanta is the flavor of the month. Going strong for while but Charlotte is up and coming and there are still a lot of predominately Black neighborhoods up North. Only thing that has changed up North is that whereas an entire city was Black, now that has been reduced down to neighborhoods. I believe that Detroit is still predominately Black though.
There's no "splitting hairs," and it's a digression anyway.
Well, if it is entirely too much, which I'm guilty of more than not on these forums I'll leave it alone and walk away. Wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last.

Cleveland is predominantly Black as well.
Actually, there are Northern cities that have increased in Black percentage and most have actually been steady.
