I usually post both this and the other list each year but forgot to and this updated list hasn't been posted on this site yet. This list is by the United States government's trade department and it only includes overseas visitors. Meaning Canada and Mexico are not included. More details on that are in the link provided.
The other list (not this one) I post every year is by a private company and includes all international visitors, including Canada and Mexico.
South Florida by itself is 20% of the entire list with 5 entrants (i.e. Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Florida Keys, Naples, West Palm Beach) with 4 of those being in Southeast Florida (i.e. Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Florida Keys, and West Palm Beach) and 1 being in Southwest Florida (i.e. Naples).

A little more than 20 percent: You left out Orlando, the #2 Florida destination after Miami.
For all intents and purposes, Anaheim's numbers should just be added on to LA's. Same MSA, with only 25 miles separating Disneyland and Downtown LA.
Based on the list, California cities make up 20% (5 of 25). "Southern California Megaregion," defined by this: Megaregions - America 2050, makes up 16% (4 of 25).
Miami to Orlando is a longer drive than NYC to DC or NYC to Boston.
Miami to Orlando is 3 hours 30 mins drive without traffic around 237 miles if there traffic 4 hours or more. DC to NYC is 222 miles miles 3 hours 45 mins drive. There daily flights between Orlando and Miami 1 hour plane ride same for DC to NYC
If you're going to visit one or two cities - chances are you will go to the biggest and most famous cities. Which will explain why the coastal cities - especially NYC, LA, Miami, San Francisco, DC - have the lion share of the visitors.
