Over the past year and 1/2, I’ve had the opportunity to visit Seattle, Vancouver, and San Francisco. I visited all three cities for vacations. Out of the three, I thoroughly enjoyed Seattle the most. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I really anticipated enjoying San Fran or Vancouver the most, but Seattle stole my heart. I would like to hear about others experiences with these three cities. Please share!
I love all three. I live in Seattle and love it the most. But the other two are in the handful of densest and most international urban cores on the continent, and I like them more in some ways. SF is a real big city, while Vancouver is an urban playland.
I've lived in SF for many years (so maybe I've become blase about it), but I like Seattle even better. SF does have better weather and better transit, though. Have only made short visits to Vancouver, but enjoyed those visits.
I really love SF the best out of these 3 with mostly mild weather year round and a very funky vibe. Lots of great culinary options and recreational activities too.
My home city of Vancouver is beautiful with its mountain vistas and lovely ocean coast. Culinary is pretty good with Asian food top notch but I find it rains way too much here.
Seattle for some reason didn't resonate with me as much. I like the city but it didn't stand out to me as much as the other two and I have been several times. Seems like it has great culinary options and lovely recreation activities similar to Vancouver though.
