I said it was rough, not impossible. If you aren't into football, there won't be a lot to talk about with a lot of people.

Also nice job cutting off the rest of the message so you can make me look even worse.

That said, a lot of people from Louisiana will deny it up and down, but that state is very confrontational and to this day racial tension is high.

There's something of a curse hanging over ol' Lu'siana.

Can't really blame it on poverty either. WV, KY, and TN all have deeper poverty in their states but far lower homicide rates.
If racial tension is as high in Louisiana as it is other Southern states you can't chalk it up to racist whites acting tough and wearing their emotions on their sleeves around black people. If not, why has the Aryan Brotherhood and other affiliate white racist gangs been able to establish homes in the state prison systems of Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia, but not those in Louisiana.

Hey, I lived in Columbus for 10 years! Well, just outside Columbus in Fortson.

I took my husband back to my 35 year class reunion (OMG can that even be right?) and he is a native Texan (you're right - Texans are a friendly bunch in general). He was very pleasantly impressed by how friendly and fun all those native Georgians are. He really liked the area and so do I.

Wow, Columbus has really "grown up!"

That could probably be applied to any region in the US. Just exchange "football" with x.

You have the Minnesota nice, the Seattle Freeze, on the east coast they're rude, in the south not genuine or superficial and on the west just crazy .....

People are people.
