Yes, they were, there is a whole thread on growth that took place in 2017 — ppl were celebrating it as a holiday lol. Maybe only certain ppl can access or pay for certain databases.

And I followed up with the percentage on population not being that big, but overall on all growth metrics for 2017. It is solidly ahead of Charlotte pound for pound.

I'll stick with the official census numbers. If you can provide the new numbers, that'd be great, but as of now, I don't see them on the Census site.

As far as Nasvhille being "solidly" ahead of Charlotte. I can think of certain areas, specifically name brand, education, and entertainment. Otherwise, Charlotte is equal to or bests Nashville in most measured metrics.

It is what it is.

Three auto manufacturing complexes.

AllianceBernstein, UBS, J.P. Morgan, Hardees, Pedestal Foods, Nissan, Bridgestone, Hankook Tire, Phillips, Amazon, KeepTruckin, Wonolo, Ernst & Young, and a multitude of others selecting Nashville for their headquarters or other corporate operations.

At least forty individual towers under construction or in the works. Add to that Fifth & Broad, Nashville Yards, Peabody Union, and River North.

Showplaces and resorts opening up everywhere.

World famous chefs from all over the world coming and opening restaurants.

That's the reason they're selecting Nashville and why they sure aren't selecting Charlotte, NC.
