Well, those three cities aren’t the most progressive or “exciting”, but I would choose Charleston, WV although I may be biased as my family originates from that area. I hear Roanoke is a nice city for its size. Macon I would cross off the list just for its crime rate.

Have you not kept up with Charleston, the West Side is just as bad as anywhere in Macon.

I actually like Charleston too though.

And not exciting like a big city, but many of these places do well for their size. So if you had to pick.

I have not been within Charleston, WV in a few years, but it doesn't surprise me that there would be an increase in crime.
