Dallas - Completed my sentence there and moved away 7 years ago. Haven't missed it at all (not even once) since we left. Terrible place to live if you're into nature and the outdoors.
Portland - Beautiful area, but the climate (both political and meteorological) is a s&^tshow.
Nashville - No thanks. Zero desire to live anywhere south of the Mason-Dixon and east of the Mississippi (loathe humidity). I know there are pockets of "better" weather in the southeast like Asheville, but if I'm gonna pay a mountain tax it'll be the Sierras or the Rockies over the Appalachians 100% of the time. Nashville's got a hot, sticky humid climate, and is generally known for being really bad for people with seasonal allergies.
I'm happy as a clam in #4 and don't see myself leaving anytime soon.
