I'm looking for a city that has a similar setting to Beverly Hills, suburban, near a city environment, Greenwich and the upper east side are excluded

Perhaps places like White Plains and Garden City.

Garden City is a good choice imo. Roosevelt Field is a top shelf mall by itself but nearby Americana Manhasset is one of the most exclusive malls in the country far exceeding anywhere in the tri state area(outside of Manhattan of course) as far as high end shopping

Actually that entire area from Garden City north to the sound is very very affluent and close to the city.

Besides Greenwich, there are a lot of 'Gold Coast' communities that fill the bill.

Darien
New Canaan
Southport
Westport

Also Scarsdale, Bronxville, Pound Ridge and Chappaqua.

Those ☝️ and maybe the Hampton’s, Short Hills, West Orange, Montclair in some of their ritzier areas.

White Plains? Really? I know it’s a nice place but aren’t there nicer towns in Westchester County?

I would definitely say Manhasset and neighboring areas. Mega-rich and you won't find a home for under $1M. The Americans Manhasset is an upscale shopping mall like Rodeo Drive. Located near where the Great Gatsby took place.

Yes, but Beverly Hills isn't uniformly affluent and in that sense they seem to be similar. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/05/u...e-housing.html

Both seem to be similar in terms of built environment as well.
