It’s Seattle, and I can’t think of a close second. I really like Miami and New Orleans, but I don’t think the general consensus ranks them that high.

wow why is Dallas so close to Seattle. Dallas doesn't really have a great reputation, or a reputation at all out west.

More people from Southern California move there than any other place east of the Rockies. It must have some reputation.

Phoenix is very underrated. After spending a few days out there, I don't know why more people aren't talking about it.

I guess that's a good thing.

There are definitely legitimate reasons to dislike Seattle, but that “Seattle is Dying” documentary was nonsense.

I haven't been there in some time. I'm going this Summer. Guess I'll see how accurate it really was. I will say that I just got back from San Francisco. While the homelessness and trash problem was certainly noticeable. It wasn't as bad as some make it seem. The only thing that stood out to me as odd was the tents.

Much of that type of propaganda is coming from Seattle natives that harbor contempt for the newcomers and the vast changes they bring to their hometown. It's not atypical for any booming, successful American city.

...Except with people from San Francisco and some others...then it's happiness about how far their dollars go. That's why seemingly every tech company in the universe is growing quickly here.

Our housing prices have dropped in the past year btw.
