I don't understand why anyone would make a thread about this.

You're comparing the Potomac and Anacostia river fronts to one of the most famous tropical ocean beaches in the world?

You know it can never be the same. Have you been to Miami Beach?

There is no other waterfront in the continental United States that can compare with Miami Beach. You're probably only talking about Hawaii at that point.

There are no other tropical ocean beaches, certainly none with the nightlife and vibrancy of Miami Beach.

Also, try San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The poll option wasn't there when I created the thread. I really intended for there to be one.

I had no expectations.

I merely created the thread to see which city would have a better water front based on DC currently building up the waterfront along the two Rivers.

It could've went either way.

It is like asking: Miami vs. Washington DC - which city is better for high-paying government jobs?

lol

I will say that I like what's going on with the Wharf in DC. I went there once, but it is only half completed so far. I don't know what else to compare the Wharf to. It's kind of its own thing.

I also thought the Spirit of Washington was a nice dinner cruise on the Potomac River. Good to see the sights in DC.
