Not at all, but you appear to be desperate for this to be THE defining aspect of San Francisco, but its not. If it were then the SF definitely would place so highly in the ranking below:

US News & World Report evaluated the 125 largest Metro Areas looking at all sorts of factors:

The Top 20
1. Austin, Texas
2. Denver, Colorado
3. Colorado Springs, Colorado
4. Fayetteville, Arkansas
5. Des Moines, Iowa
6. Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota
7. San Francisco, California
8. Portland, Oregon
9. Seattle, Washington
10. Raleigh & Durham, North Carolina
11. Huntsville, Alabama
12. Madison, Wisconsin
13. Grand Rapids, Michigan
14. San Jose, California
15. Nashville, Tennessee
16. Asheville, North Carolina
17. Boise, Idaho
18. Sarasota, Florida
19. Washington, D.C.
20. Charlotte, North Carolina

You do know that those rankings aren’t some official document really, right? I highly doubt the visible presence of homeless individuals or petty criminal drifters was even considered as a factor.

The flaw is already in the concept anyway, livability, quality of life etc. means different things to different people. In fact if you asked the individuals who made that ranking what their perfect livable environment looks like, I would probably not want to live in what they envision.

Well apparently more people envision themselves in the San Francisco Metro Area than any other major metro according to the US News Ranking.

So, all the videos and photos I've seen, are fake? Here's an article from CNN....they have more, as well. https://money.cnn.com/2016/06/29/tec...eless-project/

You're pretending there isn't a serious problem, 18Montclair, and that can't be healthy.

That's meaningless to me, but pics and vids you view online from two timezones away dont supercede my daily experience. Nope.

SF has issues like every major city but it could be worse, we dont have 700 murders a year and the population isnt shrinking, so I guess we should all be grateful.

Haha its let's talk about how healthy it is to obssess over a negaive news story that you want so bad to be true because your envious of the city the story targets.

That. Is not healthy.

I'll bow out, for now. Arguing about this is silly, and pointless. I've seen pics firsthand, by friends and family who have been in San Francisco. I have eyes, and have seen photos, from their cameras and phones. They tell a story different than the one you're trying to spin. Ciao.

Again, you are a bit too eager for the narrative of a city totally awash in homeless+poop to be true, and the defining characteristic of SF.

Just admit it.
