Yeah same here with Houston over San Fran. San Fran building tons though, so they'll get the numbers up fast over the next few years.
As for Nashville, there are 9-10 under construction currently over 300 feet, and another 10+ planned, so that number will shoot up fast by 2022/23 or so.
San Francisco will have to fit them all downtown though because there's a 40 foot height restriction outside of downtown.
A few things to clear up , Miami doesn't have taller buildings than Chicago. Also Miami as a city is quite small (35 square miles) compared to Chicago.
As for the number of skyscrapers the Miami metro area would rank 3rd. in the nation after NYC & Chicago.
