Nashville has at least 51 buildings over 200'.

This includes a few buildings under construction which have exceeded 200' at this time or topped out. They are part of the current skyline, also.

Charlottes has just as many buildings over 200'.... the difference is Charlottes signature towers are taller and substantially more impactful upon its urban breadth

Definitely my city Charlotte. Best view in my opinion is coming down Wilkeson Boulevard especially at night.

I think Nashville is going to end up having a more expansive skyline with a greater cluster of mid and highrises than Charlotte -- but Nashville's skyline is pretty boxy and stocky. Charlotte has the taller and much more elegant skyline, and it will remain that way for the foreseeable future, IMO. Charlotte's talls have superior architecture. I have long admired what they have going on there.

Here’s my favorite view I tried to post earlier. This shot is beautiful at night.

Yes, I agree with this

I do think Nashville has the larger downtown overall, even if the skyline isn't as impressive.

Yeah, agreed.

I think Nashville will continue to aggressively expand the buildings within the 200 to 400 foot high area, and continue to become dense downtown, the gulch, midtown and other new high rise areas will pop up (think the proposed River North section). Nashville could have one, maybe two, skyscrapers to break the 600 foot barrier in the next 5 years, but I think most construction will continue to densify and add infill to the skyline.

Charlotte has some beautiful architecture for sure. I love their tallest building, the Bank of America plaza.

Charlotte for me. The Bank of America tower alone still makes it a tough city to beat The Caesar Pelli designed structure is gorgeous and the fact that the city's core is dense with highrises. Nashville does have a lot of buildings UC though. well have to check back in like 3 to 4 years.
