The video below is a compilation review of some of the projects that are in progress, or were completed over the last couple of years in Grand Rapids. It also gives a pretty good feel for the skyline. I as a homer definitely think my city is underrated.
Not really sure which one is the best, but I do like Asheville's with the mountains as a backdrop to the buildings. Nice setting.
That's actually a common feature of several of the skylines on this list. But I think the architecture of some of Asheville's most notable buildings makes it a bit distinct.
Buffalo (not polled) also has only 1 building above 400 feet (Seneca One is over 500 feet) with 2 other buildings falling just under 400 feet (City Hall at 398, and Rand at 391). Street view does not give the best representation of the skyline, but here are a couple of views:
