This is based on the input of 600k+ registered voters. In the fine print, they do track IP addresses and suspicious voter activity/volumes to keep the results as clean as possible. Most notably, Chicago was voted as the top US Big City destination for the 3rd straight year.

As always, I expect a bunch of blowback about this list. But, curious to hear what folks think.
Of course there will be disagreements about the list because it's just a simple question which they are basing it on. Overall though, it's a decent list because all cities on the list can have an argument on why it's there. In addition, it's not too generic with all top cities being LA, SF, Seattle, Miami, and other touristy cities. There's actually some nice surprises.
Minneapolis above Miami, LA, New York, Orlando, Atlanta Philadelphia, Washington, Boston, San Francisco seems a bit suspect.
Considering I can’t really think of a major attraction in Minneapolis
Minneapolis, because it's the only city of size in Minnesota, so that's where everyone in Minnesota goes. Also, Iowans head there, as well, because it's the closest big city to Iowa. Probably parts of South Dakota, as well. Minneapolis kind of stands alone...no other city nearby to compete with it.
at one time, the HQ of my employer was in Chicago.
i would go there every quarter.
always had a good time, but
the above poster is right.
1st and 2nd quarter = winter.
3rd was summer. 4th was winter.

I’m just surprised places like Nashville and Las Vegas are built off Tourism and they aren’t even on the list.

Sure, April- June are definitely winter. You have lost credibility. I lived there, and you don't have a clue, what you're talking about.

The Minnies will be on your case shortly. I don't get why Denver isn't on the list. I guess people think it's snowing year round. (It is supposed to snow tomorrow, first since late May.)
