So both these metro's often get called lobsided. Most of the development is to the north of Downtown. Those areas have higher home values, more shopping opptions and better schools. I feel like the southern suburbs of these cities often get ignored. Overall which do you think is better?

Some criteria to consider
1. Schools
2. COL
3. Parks
4. Transportation
5. Scenery
6. Urban walkable areas
7. Shopping
8. Safety

In every Dallas v. Atlanta topic, all it really comes down to is scenery. One has taller trees and bigger hills than the other. Game over.

Dallas southern suburbs scenery is underrated. It’s actually a rolling terrain with a nice mixture of trees, prairies, and lakes.
