They are pretty comparable in their cores, but housing types can be different. Intown Atlanta has a much larger stock of single family homes and on larger lots than what you see in Dallas. Even parts of Midtown Atlanta have high numbers of single family homes. That’s more of a rarity in Dallas. DFW is a much more densely developed area (business, residential, etc.) than Metro Atlanta, so I’m sure that has something to do with it and the addition of high property taxes.

Besides the intown areas of Atlanta, Alpharetta in N.Fulton is the priciest but Southlake seemed a bit more expensive.
