After no, but you stated that there weren't any homicides for 11 weeks, when really it has been 3 since the last.

Correction

Miami, FL – For 55 days this year, the city of Miami didn’t report having a homicide, the longest stretch going back to 1957. February 17 to April 11th.
Records show more murders have been recorded over the same period this year in the city of Hialeah and in unincorporated Miami-Dade, an area that includes about half the county’s population of 2.7 million people. 16 people have been murdered in unincorporated Miami-Dade, a 33 percent increase over 12 homicides during the same time in 2019.

And the 11 homicides in Miami so far this year is running below the 14 recorded over the same time span last year, according to records provided by the city. Homicides were also slightly down in the city’s of Miami Gardens and North Miami, the medical examiner’s records show.

Murders countywide are up slightly. So far this year, the total number in all of the county’s 34 municipalities and unincorporated Miami-Dade is 74, up from 70 recorded over the same time span in 2019.

Unincorporated Miami-Dade had one of the largest spikes in homicides this year little more than 19 percent, according to records received from the Miami-Dade Police Department. As of Today, there had been 33 reported homicides in unincorporated Miami-Dade, compared to 27 over the same time period a year ago.

Homicides in the county are up 48 percent, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. There have been 34 murders so far this year, compared to only 23 during the same time frame last year.

Good on Baltimore. It seems to be in 5th or 6th for total homicides right now. In 2016 it was only behind Chicago. Finally should see under 300 this year once again.

As nice as it for the murders to finally be down... we both know it's due to the ongoing lockdowns atm. Summer is going to be the litmus test to see if the city continues this down trend.

Yea there was 4 homicides yesterday in Houston alone remember one day back in April the city saw 10 murders in three days. Dallas area is safer than Houston.
