2 men killed and one stabbed in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood. This is at least 21 homicides for Dorchester, also a Dorchester murder suspect was apprehended in Long Beach, California a few hours prior.

Boston 36

In the 80s and 90s it was the housing projects like Cabrini Green causing homicides spikes. I would have thought the spike in 2016 was caused by a drug epidemic, turf wars, or police defunding but a study suggests it was caused by police backing down: link.

I’d have to figure crime feels more intense for native Balck Chicagoans or at least similarly intense as the 1990s.

there are nearly as many homicides but a much much smaller black population. This means the per capita rate for black people has gone up. There also likely fewer white homicide victims now.

Add to this the fact that homicides are concentrated in and around the groundS of housing projects, they’re scattered throughout what were formerly solid black neighborhoods.

It’s contributing to a social decline and day function in “Family Matters” type neighborhoods and families.

Only you have mentioned “inferior” and now that someone is pushing the narrative that community groups caused the increase in crime.

Your indoctrinated dogma you spout isn’t impressive as is your reading comprehension skills. You act on emotion; you know the personality trait that should be gone by post adolescence.

Enjoy your BLM movement as 1000s of innocent black lives are lost with police pull back.

Btw, try having a mature discussion by at least mentioning two points on occasion: parental responsibility and personal responsibility.

Keep reading racism into everything, it’s very productive and certainly won’t divert your life potential being taken down that road.

Best wishes!
More predictable racist verbiage. At this point you can’t help yourself. You’ve been too conditioned. And btw not one time did I suggest any action an individual makes isn’t a personal responsibility nor a household responsibility. If anything you’ve chosen to take away accountability of those doing the murders and place responsibility at the hands of BLM organizations and other organizations you consider Marxist. Last time I checked BLM are not killing and harming Black people. A few destructive Mostly Black males and racist cops are the ones killing and harming Black people. Neither are apart of the BLM organization.

Also considering I’m not at high risk to be killed by acts of violence perpetuated by Black males(it’s easy to avoid when your not involved in that lifestyle or live in a high crime neighborhood)I’m enjoying my life just fine. How about you?

Now hopefully your next response won’t be so predictable Mr. Racist Man!

Personal attacks are supposed to be a no no here... privilege?

The past month or two?

You mean when the marxists leadership in BLM, ANTIFA, and other assorted left wing losers manipulated the black community into a free for all looting spree in progressive blue cities to foment their class warfare? The looting could have happened after an NBA Championship win as well but perhaps not as widespread because our blue mayors wanted it widespread and left it unchecked to create anarchy in Trump’s America.

Or do you mean groups like BLM creating the biggest white guilt shakedown since the Great Society? All the while full hilt commie Susan Rosenberg is supervising BLM fundraising in, where else, Oakland. Ms Rosenberg is a ‘70s-‘80s hard core Marxist sent to prison in 1984 for 58 years for, among things, possession of firearms and 600 lbs of explosives...pardoned by rapist, serial sexual assaulter, and all around sleaze bag Bill Clinton on his last day in office. Guilty White morons and corporations pouring $$ into BLM as comrade Rosenberg counts it...no wonder the Chinese know we’re naive, gullible, and plain old dumb.

Or do you mean all the guilty White folks hijacking the black community police brutality “cause”? Somehow these guilty white useful idiots have been duped into believing that the black community owns police brutality.

Or do you mean the embarrassing adults (on paper at least) in lily White Seattle and Portland patronizing blacks with their revolution? lol. White people duped into massive debt and the Ponzi scheme known as liberal arts and humanities degrees. Lots of people, especially White people, need something to do and this gives them the easy and narcissistic way to do something with a big dose of virtue signaling.

Past 2 months have been White people in the streets patronizing the black community, attacking the police, promoting defunding and disbanding same, creating general lawlessness for their revolution game inspired by some inept sociology or ethnic studies professor, and enabled by De Blasio, Lighthead, Wheeler, Durkan, Kenney, Lance Bottoms, Bowser etc to create and allow anarchy for the November election.

Moron Lance Bottoms really irks me with her attempt to be down with this pacific nw occupy game..allowing it where that drunk dude with cop taser was taken out, you know where the Wendy’s was burned to the ground...armed thugs securing the area killed a little girl passenger in a car...8 year old Secoriea Turner...odd I don’t hear her name or all the other kids killed the past 2 months...chalked up as collateral damage I guess as no one will ever Remember Their Names...disgusting and Lance Bottoms is allegedly on Crazy Joe’s VP short list.

Hey Keisha, Atlanta is not Portland...maybe “Keisha” can be the black version of “Karen” now. Karen meet your counterpart Keisha!

All the while these same guilty White morons have been gentrifying and displacing the black community from these blue city playgrounds and most disgusting of all have cost scores and scores of black homicide victims as collateral damage with this little stop Trump at any cost game they’re playing.

Or that we’re now supposed to capitalize B in black, banning Gone With The Wind, dropping Cops tv show, dropping standard and correct English grammar at a Rutgers because it’s a form of white privilege and oppression, businesses displaying BLM everywhere, among tons of other white guilt nonsense. This is supposed to help the communities you told me to visit?

Please keep sending $$ to a Susan Rosenberg in Oakland via BLM ...LOL. Those marxists are experts at manipulating the race game. Even better than white guilt $$ shakedown experts Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton...oops forget to use their tax exempt titles...Reverends..LOL.

Is this what you’re talking about, for starters, the past 2 months?

Exactly. This is why I've said that Chicago is not inherently dangerous these days. Even numbers like we saw in 2016 or 2020 do not make it anywhere near as inherently dangerous as the city was in the 70s and 80s. It would be physically and logistically quite easy these days to keep Chicago homicides under 400 a year, yet the city is choosing to barely keep homicides below 600. Back in the 70s and 80s, even if they 100% wanted to keep homicides below 600 and did everything in their power they wouldn't be able to. And Chicago is certainly no more inherently dangerous than it was in the late 90s-2015 when the city kept it's homicides below 500 most of the time.

Chicago knock down housing projects in early 2000s and 2009 so it bring gangs closer to each other in another turf. You have drill music that got popular in 2011-2012 murders sharp spike over the years along with unemployment, broken families, poverty.

Not only Chicago NYC seeing a spike as well so as Memphis, Saint Louis, Kansas City, Houston, Albany NY, Paterson NJ, Syracuse, NY, Youngstown, OH many other cities.

Was one spike in 2012 and then it went back to normal. Very odd that there's a spike every time elections come around, every 4 years since Obama...

2007 - 15.6
2008 - 18.0
2009 - 16.1

2011 - 15.9
2012 - 18.5
2013 - 15.3

2015 - 17.5
2016 - 28.1
2017 - 24.1

Looks like the same pattern will repeat itself this year...

The project theme that people mentioned so often is a factor yet a sizeable portion of homicides occured there. There's chicago police crime archives that show a map of the police districts, broad , and there's a plurality of homicides outside the peripheral projects.
