481 shot, 63 killed in August in Chicago. That total includes 39 minors shot. 51 officers have been shot in total this year, compared to 15 in all of 2019 and 2018. 505 murders as of Aug 30, per compstat report.

However, police says summer violence has dropped in August. Technically that is true, but it feels empty when murders are already more than all of 2019 and is expected to end with 2017 numbers at a bare minimum.

It's the same thing with Atlanta. Violent crime is down 20% but murders are up nearly 50% (92 as of 8/22 compared to 63 the same time last year).

[quote=Apparel;59056489]Idk depends on what you think is safe. North Minneapolis between Plymouth and Dowling North to South and 94 and penn east to west is constant crime. And south Minneapolis between 35th st and 18th st north to South and 35w and Hiawatha east to west is none stop crime.

#69 for Cincinnati early Wednesday morning. Despite a calm last week of August, the city is still on pace to break its homicide record of 88 in a single year.
