How do you become more urban? You either live in an urban area or a rural area...

You’re just posting stuff with no evidence to back up your assertion.

I don't know, does the Energy Corridor contain a major regional mall and a concentrated Medical District?

Default Memorial City

The Memorial City mall is just across the Beltway from the energy Cortidor. Keep in mind that we are talking about only the 5th largest business district in Houston so no one is writing home about the Energy Corridor. We should start with Downtown and then go from there.

That’s even besides the point.

Downtown and Midtown alone contain over 50 million square feet of office space vs 43 million as feet for Houston’s CBD. Downtown and Midtown form Atlanta’s CBD. Not just DTA.

Over all, Atlanta has 220 million sq ft vs 231 sq ft million for Houston. Houston is a larger region by at least 400-500k depending on the definition, so it should have more office space.

I really don’t think people realize just how big Perimeter Center and Cumberland really are.

Houston metro is actually larger than Atlanta metro by almost one million people at this point. Makes sense that Atlanta has a lot of office space since it's also a state capital. Looking at the same source (Colliers), Atlanta is actually closer to Houston in overall office space (230M vs 225M).

True. But I was saying at minimum if folks prefer CSA over MSA.

North Fulton, which is centered on Alpharetta has 29.5 million sq ft above Perimeter Center, which has 29.6 million sq ft. Alpharetta is a freaking monster!
