Ironically, the tallest timber building in the world is going to be built in St. Louis. https://www.bizjournals.com/stlouis/...ss-timber.html

Oh well, for now it's in Milwaukee. Overlooking Lake Michigan (it looks like an ocean), will be a hard thing to beat in St. Louis.

Milwaukee, Cincinnati, St. Louis.

Milwaukee has a beautiful setting that the other two cities could only dream of. Also, Milwaukee has a densely populated and bustling downtown. The other two look like a Sears Parking lot.

To be fair, the hills overlooking the Ohio River is a pretty nice setting in the case of Cincinnati.

I’ve spent a lot more time in Milwaukee than in Cincinnati. But on my most recent trip to Cincinnati, I left with the impression that it has seen more revitalization over larger parts of the city than Milwaukee. It just looked like it was in better shape. And in looking at the economic standing of the two, that would make sense.

Same time, I’d be really surprised if Cincinnati has as desirable of suburbia as either St Louis of Milwaukee.
