Bottom line, legalization in most States has not created any major problems. In fact, in some States, the illegal trade of weed has decreased. I fully expect there will be a national legalization in the near future, but that depends on congress and who is President.

75 % of weed grown in CA is consumed out of state. Most of Denver's weed is shipped in from CA. Colorado lacks the soil and weather to match elite NorCal growing conditions. Much like hops, NorCal soil is the most ideal for growing.

CO might have legalized it first, but NorCal is the clear winner. The emerald triangle's economy has revolved around weed for the last 30 years.

California uber alles.

You know the gigantic irony in legalization is that drug cartels typically are the ones most opposed to legalization.

The problem is we as a country seem to connect "morality" to these kinds of things, when, just speaking out loud, you can't really control what someone does. That's for another topic and another place though.

I'm excited to see the kind of weed cafe culture the US develops. I get the impression it's going to be more like the neighborhood bar type of place than a corporate Starbucks kind of place.

Unfortunately religious conservatives are still heavily fighting legalization and at the moment, they aren't winning but they are succeeding at stalling it.

Oregon has the most dispensaries per capita. We've also grown so much it would take years to smoke it all.

Actually, Eastern Washington is the most fertile ground for hops and is the largest producer of hops in the country

If we're talking actual cities, I'd throw my vote in for Oaksterdam.
