Vancouver's first stations, were fairly bland and standard. Since the Skytrain has grown and is growing, more attention is being put into stations, and most of them are being upgraded and art added.
This one, Brentwood, is one of the better older designs, since it was different from the other stations and stood out. Then interior has nice wooden beams.
I really don't think though, that Vancouver will win any awards for it's stations. They are practical, clean, easy to use, but will never be like Moscow or London.
The Block M isn’t very distinctive but NYC, Philly and Boston all have pretty different branding.
The “T” is used in a couple cities with Boston being the most famous) same with “the Subway” is used in NYC. “The Metro or Metrorail” is the branding for tons of cities in the world
Minneapolis has a T logo but is called Metro/Metrorail
House of Cards was filmed in Baltimore. The subway scenes were the Baltimore subway. Baltimore subway stations look nothing like DCs subways.
And noone cares if it was filmed in BMore. People will "see" DC when they turn the show on. They superimposed DC behind it I guess of it was filmed in BMore but does the below look like BMore to you?
Here you go bringing BMore into a discussion about DC. I thought you never do that.
I live in Baltimore and have ridden the one subway line once-just out f curiosity. It’s a carbon copy of DC and barely used.
Dallas has a transit system??? (Seriously)
LA just built a few subway lines right? Never seen em, or heard of anyone riding em...yet.
Meanwhile I’ve seen shots of the MARTA and I know it exists
The Baltimore subway does not have the waffle ceiling, or the same cars that DC has. The platforms also look nothing like: many DC stations the platform on the sides with the trains in the middle. Baltimore has the platform in the middle trains on the sides. They look absolutely nothing alike.
Baltimore and Miami's subway are carbon copies of each other, as they were built by the same company, and the exact same time(early 80s) and have the exact same cars.

I brought up Baltimore because it was relevant to post that I responded to. The Show that you brought up was filmed in BALTIMORE. How will they recognize DCs subway if they are seeing the subway of another city, genius?

Does the picture look like BMore to you? LOL! Have you even seen the show.. every scene in the subway shows the waffle roof!
