Oh, okay. Well, Murk had summed it up in a thorough manner regarding the variety found in LA. That classic blonde California girl image is a throwback and I'm sure you'd see a lot of Latina, Asian, etc in California.... What you would want is probably more in the upper Midwest like MN.

Well, of course but nobody really notices obese women in major cities the same way car enthusiasts sees but don't remember busted old Honda Accords on the highway. In sheer numbers, within college towns and major cities, there will be a lot of attractive fit women in Texas I'm sure (even if the obesity rate is something like a say 1/4 or something).

I hear you.

I don't understand why these types of threads are even allowed. It's gross and horribly subjective.

It's gross to have this sorta discussion. It's predatory in a sense and disrespectful. And it's far too subjective to ever actually have a healthy debate on or reach any mutual agreement. For example, I'm mostly attracted to Latinos and Mediterranean/Arab looks. So there are certain cities I think of as having the most attractive people. However, someone else may be into more Nordic looks or South Asian or East Asian or Sub-Saharan African looks. Who am I to say they're wrong in their preference of sexual attraction? And who are we to objectify entire races people? On top of that, clearly some people are sexually attracted to women who undergo a lot of plastic surgery, while others are completely turned off by anything plastic surgery related.

This is an inappropriate topic to be discussing on a forum that is meant for us to discuss cities. This is not a dating website or a website to judge other peoples' looks.

And no, I don't like when people ask about the attractiveness of men in cities. I've seen many OPs asking about either gender in their preference of where to move to. Firstly, that's such an illogical reason to pick a place to move to. There is someone for everyone in every major city. We're not discussing the difference between living in Miami or rural Arkansas on threads. The difference is not so severe between major cities. If that's what you base your living situation on, you need to reevaluate your priorities in life. Secondly, it's just plain creepy.

And again, because people think there is a double standard. I do not think it's appropriate to discuss the attractiveness of males or females in a city on a forum like this. Save that for Buzzfeed.

So you'd love Miami and Dearborn, Michigan? I read all of this post and thx for replying. I disagree with most because this is neither gross, predatory, or creepy as you put it. Also, men speaking on femenine beauty isn't doesn't objectify a woman (you'd really need to hear more from a person's post to determine that. Would a post asking about the best female chefs be objectifying?) I (as well as other posters) would agree with you if some guy started posting something that mirrored Harvey Weinstein or The R but the discussion was respectful and was lively due to the subjectivity. We just gave Mr. Jester a hard time because it sounded like he was like "Don't we all like blondes, right, right?" we had to shut that down and rib him a bit. While not the sole reason, singles who date would find this discussion helpful when searching for a city. Buzzfeed would ask which city produce the most pornstars, this thread and discussion isn't even in the same zip code as that.
