Having lived in California and Vermont, yeah, hands down I'd pick VT all day, every day.

Genuinely curious as to why? The only young women I've met from Vermont are really skinny crunchy granola types or just kind of "weathered". And there are not many young women in VT in general and I'm a young dude (28) so it matters for me. LA and the Bay Area are not places I like much but the women..

I never found a lack of women my age there in my 20s when I lived there, or now when I'm there (I'm there a lot for outdoor activities and I have family there).

They're naturally hot. Little to no make up. Wind swept hair. Just very naturally beautiful. I routinely meet women in their 40s and 50s that look like 30 yos in other states. Youthful.

And none of this applies to Boston women?

I would say this thread is mostly silly because attractiveness, like many human attributes (i.e., height), is probably normally distributed. So all cities will be full of mostly average to below average people (and statistically overweight to obese people) with the far right tail of the bell curve representing the small minority of genuinely attractive people.

That said, there are places in many large cities you can go and see many women who are far above average at a higher rate than you would in the general population. This pretty much goes for any upper middle class urban enclave where the bulk of the population is college educated and in the 21-35 age range. In NYC, Miami and LA, you can see more absolute certified stunners in these places even if their numbers are paltry when compared to the entire population of women.

I am assuming you mean Black women here. I don't think this is true at all. Just take a look at the CDC overweight and obesity data for women in their 20s. Here is the % of Black women in their 20s with a normal BMI.

Massachusetts - 46.4%
New York - 39.0%
District of Columbia - 32.5%

Now mind you we are comparing states (including one very large state) to a small, relatively affluent city with a highly educated population. If we limited our analysis to only Manhattan and Brooklyn, the percentage would certainly be higher, and you would still have a significantly larger raw number than you would for either DC or MA.

No it does and can but really not nearly as much. E

Everything in NYCthat I mentioned negatively here is significantly lower in Boston, More Americanized women (appearance-wise IMO). It is the difference between a clean, breathable environment/triple-decker and hauling yourself up a dank 6 story walkup. Less stress, less grime, and it show in the populace IMO. That's why we tend to like the southern/western girls on this thread...

Also much much less access to junk food in Boston. Much less. And people are far more likely to e active and outdoorsy due to the ease of access to the great outdoors. It is a significant differenc,NYC women are also known and take pride in their confrontational attitude, Boston women are not the friendliest but much less aggressive/in your face which is a turn off to me.

Like everything else in NYC its about the intensity of it all. But im sure at the upper crust you'll find abundantly more vixens and 'baddies' in NYC. I'm more talking about the general proletariat.Im assuming we all are. I find women, more so than men, have to be comfortable to really glow.

But everything you said is true. In a large city, these things really don't matter. There are way more than enough attractive women.

Naw not really I was talking all women in general maybe not the white women- that might be a draw.

And yes there statistically significant difference here. Im pretty Boston is gonna be even healthier than MA as a whole. even more so for black women because most black women not living in Boston probably live in poorer less well resourced outer urban areas.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence this info backs up my anecdote. With virtually no hesitation it’s not just Boston women>NYC women it’s more like Boston women>>NYC women. I mean every NY dude think NY had the best everything especially over Boston so it’s whatever lol. This like when NYers tell you they got better Haitian Patties, crosswalks, subways, parks, watches, socks etc etc lol it’s kinda like “aight dog.. you got it”

As for DC. I get that BMI I’m prolly influenced by the MD women in the city.

I'm curious to see the results of a "Which cities have the most attractive male populace" thread? My guess is that the same cities that have the most attractive women also have the most attractive men, which makes this in essence a discussion of the cities with the most attractive people.

If we're talking an overall average of the entire population of individuals in their 20s--the overweight and obese, the low wage workers, guys under 6'0 feet tall (sorry, you are "short" in the eyes of most cute girls), guys afflicted with male pattern hair loss, people with bad skin, people with mediocre to barely above average faces, people with tattoos on nearly every part of their body--then the average sits somewhere around 4.7 to 4.8 IMHO. Perhaps a bit higher for women since shortness and baldness are two afflictions suffered by many men throughout their 20s. The difference between in any two large cities is negligible, maybe 0.2 to 0.3 points.

I think where we start to see the differences is in the more upwardly mobile, young professional/creative classes. And here I would argue that NYC/LA/Miami are heads and shoulders above everywhere else. Not only are there are a lot of women turning heads in Manhattan, there are a lot of men turning heads too! A 6'2 guy with great bone structure and a nice physique is probably more rare than an attractive woman and many attractive women move to NYC or LA to meet those guys. Not exactly rocket science.

Fwiw Boston was more heavily repped in the attractive men version of this poll we had a few months back than this one. There attractive people over there. LA and Miami aren’t really the same as NYC when I see women- maybe dudes. Makes more sense, I don’t know.
