Tampa's metro is definitely larger than Austin or San Antonio, it is just also much less centralized. This thread has kind of gonna back and forth about whether it is looking at cities or metros. Austin clearly beats Tampa as a singular city, but the metro comparison is debatable. At a metro level Tampa has a large lead in population but Austin probably has a slight lead in GDP. (https://www.statista.com/statistics/...t-metro-areas/)

San Antonio is not the (relative) economic powerhouse that Austin is so I have a hard time seeing an argument for it over Tampa.

Tampa vs San Jose is an even more apples-to-oranges comparison I think.

when people try to pinpoint typos and grammar, that's when you know you have no good response and lost the argument lol.

CD gold standard clapbacks:

You've never been here
Typos/grammar nitpicking
My city is better because it kept a dilapidated rowhouse
My city is better for outdoor activities because I can drive 4 hours to the beach
My city has better food (cites Chipotle and other chains)

Frankly you're not worth the effort and I have no vested interest in either attacking or defending St. Louis. I simply know enough about the place to know that you're way off in your assessment.
