I was hoping to move to Las Vegas back in the winter... I had a job interview at a college but was not chosen for the position...
Could this have been a blessing in disguise?
I attended college in LV in the past and craved the beautiful sun and proximity to California. The cost of living is lower than where I currently live on the east coast and am tired of the high rents, rat race and overcast days..
I still want to get out in that direction in the country......
Change March 2020 v. January 2020 is interesting. Memphis and Chattanooga seemingly gained jobs. I could assume Memphis gained jobs with FedEx located there and people ordering A LOT more deliveries and stuff. And maybe similar companies that work alongside FedEx's logistics and stuff? What about Chattanooga, though? What's there that would lower unemployment? Not a dig at the city. I literally don't know.
One crazy thing IMO is the the strength of NYC to still somehow be ranked 125/130 even as it's the worst affected city in the world. I mean maybe this could change next time stats come out. Maybe it's because we have more remote workers? I'm not sure.
