Both are fast-growing, suburban counties. Tough choice as I've never been to the KC area, though I have been to Indy many times. Honestly I think I'd go with Johnson County as KC seems to have a lot that appeals to me.

Travis County because it has amazingly beautiful countryside outside the city.
St. Louis County, Missouri or Madison County, Illinois?
Gimme St.Louis County, All of St Louis Amenities without having to cross A River and A Bridge to get to them
Hamilton County Tennessee or Greenville County South Carolina
