900 miles apart on the West Coast, we have two absolutely gorgeous cities here. Both have their fair share of mountains and forests, but with their own individual flavors of dreamlike beauty, being set in central California and northwest Washington respectively.

Which metro has the superior collection of natural scenery?

Bellingham is about trees, water, and a huge Mt. Baker backdrop. SF is great urbanity but I'll take green.

Washington is hands down the most beautiful state I've ever been in.

San Francisco because it has the natural wonders of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Oakland Bay Bridge, and the magnificent skyline, including the Salesforce tower!

Just kidding. Bellingham for more forests. But every time SF is involved in a natural scenery battle, inevitably posters will rave about the bridges and the skyline, as if those are natural.

The biggest difference for me is that I've heard of San Francisco.

San Francisco is pretty, but Bellingham is prettier.

Those bridges may not be natural but they are impressive man-made structures. It's pretty amazing man can build bridges over large bodies of water, and so deep into the water and so far up in the air and they are able to sustain the weight of the cars and trucks that pass safely over them continuously. Those bridges are really just as impressive as forests and mountains that were created by nature. You don't find bridges like the Golden Gate in every city.

Uhm, can someone post Bellingham pictures from a regular camera? All the pictures Ive found come from drones or from a boat, and captured with a large camera.
Any iPhone pictures of Bellingham? I'd like to see some before I vote
I know phones do the opposite, they shrink detail, but they're closer to reality than these photos I'm seeing from Google.
