Morgantown WV. Seems more appealing than Mobile. Mountains>Beach to me too
Atlantic City NJ in July or Las Vegas in July?
Atlantic City. Even though I'm not a fan, it has an ocean and I can't stand triple digit, blow torch level heat of desert Summers, even it's "dry heat" lol.
Branson, MO is very tacky in my opinion. The main route is filled with gimmicky tourist trap spots. It has a very small historic downtown area, and then a new urbanism mall that leaves a lot to be desired.
I would rather have the beach and golf communities of Myrtle Beach.

Cheaha State Park, Alabama or Tomoka State Park, Florida?
Cheaha State Park, Alabama. I'm a hiker and I like that perched up rock ledge with the view over the valley. If the Florida park were an oceanfront beach I might have gone with that.
Assateague Island National Seashore, Maryland or Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Michigan?
While the Great Lakes have natural beauty, I prefer the Atlantic Ocean. Plus the wild horses are pretty amazing to see.
Ocean City, NJ or Ocean City, MD?
