I'd rather visit Milwaukee. I've only ever driven through, and would like to explore it more deeply.
New Orleans or Quebec City?
This is a tough comparison, where my gut wants to pick Quebec City. I have been to New Orleans before, but never Quebec City. That said, I suspect there is A LOT more things to do in NO, than QC. Honestly here I'll go with QC, since at the end of the day in most cases (including this one), I'll go with the place I hadn't visited.
Small towns near national parks: Ely, NV, or Moab, UT?

Ely... it would be fun to visit a really out-of-the-way town (judging by the map,
the nearest interstate is at least 75 miles away). Moab probably has a lot of
tourist traffic.

Dallas or Houston?
We actually considered taking a trip to Houston this year, but ultimately decided against it. It doesn't seem, at least from afar, like Houston has many of the benefits of being near the ocean that I enjoy. It also seems, at least from afar, that is lacks the culture of a place like New Orleans which also lacks some of those ocean benefits. I'd welcome the chance to visit Houston to either be proven completely wrong or validated.

Omaha or Oklahoma City?
Omaha. I've never been there. Disneyland or Disney World?
Disney World, as I get the sense that park probably offers more vs. Disneyland.
Cedar Point (Sandusky, OH), or Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, CA)?
Cedar Point, it's kind of a Midwestern rite of passage but I've never been. Hopefully I'd have time to use it as a springboard to explore Cleveland, Akron, and/or Toledo a bit as well.

Midland-Odessa, TX or Amarillo, TX?
Amarillo, for sure. Since I both want to see Palo Duro Canyon (just south of Amarillo, and east of Canyon, TX), and the 'carhenge' statue/artwork(made up of old Cadillac cars) that's just west of town. And such an Amarillo trip, could be a springboard for me to visit other talked about route 66 towns in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. Including an abandoned town near the Texas/New Mexico border, where I saw some online pics of it that looked interesting. Honestly, I don't think there's as much near Midland and Odessa, that would necessarily make me want to do a trip there.
Hmm, not an easy choice.... each is in the middle of some amazing scenery.
But I'd go to Telluride, because I'm not as familiar with CO as with CA.
And judging by Streetview pics, some of CO's best peaks are close by.
Btw, I'd visit in the summer.... I don't ski and don't like cold weather.
