I would love to know the reasoning people have for voting for Vancouver. It has the worst stats of the three: it's the cloudiest, most days of precipitation, most rainfall, most snow, and the coldest summers and winters.

The difference are negligible.
Plus, some cities still offer a nicer outdoor experience in rainy weather. I know, that I simply walk 2 blocks to the seawall, and go for a walk along the water in the rain and head into Stanley Park and feel far away from the city, even though I am still in the centre of it.
As for snow, the downtown core gets very little, if any most winters. If we do, it last a few days only out of winter. The snow is close by on the mountains, and people can be skiing within 30 minutes of downtown. So those people appreciate that.
