The Census Bureau released it's 5-year estimates last week, which means all places regardless of population, so I always look to that data for average incomes for small towns because those are usually the wealthiest but are not in the 1-year release. Anyhow, here are the places that I found so far...

1. Nicasio has to be a fluke of some kind. It's a teeny tiny town in Marin and is usually not anywhere near this high--maybe George Lucas moved there? Who knows, in any event, it tops all places in the United States as far as Average Family Income for 2019.

Usually, rankings on this topic such as the one by Bloomberg includes only places with at least 5,000 population, but I am a geek and want to see all areas.

I bolded and colored red places that are $500,000+

Interesting list. Indian Creek, aka Billionaires Bunker—where Jared and Ivanka (why us?) have just plopped down $38M and will soon be joined by Tom and Giselle.

Fisher Island, average income $2.2M and wealthiest zip code in the US, was not listed and should be added (at the very top), no???...I’m showing a population of 236, more than Nicasio and Indian Creek. Was it lumped in with Miami Beach?--if so, not sure why when Indian Creek was not.

I think there's a Westlake in Austin that is very wealthy. Didn't know Dallas had a Westlake.

The new Schwab HQ is there. It's between Southlake and the Texas Motor Speedway. Trophy Club/Roanoke area.

This list is just as much informative of the political divisions in the region as a measure of wealth.

Boston and Chicago combining for less representation than Minneapolis just tells you they have significantly larger Local Divisions than less wealth.
