That has to be a misprint or something because I can’t find any other info on that and with that many murders in such a short time there would be more news articles out or even stories leading up to this amount.

number of homicides in Charlotte has gone down quite a bit. Currently sitting on 1 or 2 depending on how the CMPD rules the case I believe. last year Charlotte had numbers in the 120's, really high for us. Lot of crime happening outside the city in the suburbs and exurbs though. Numerous incidents of loss of life in areas usually that are very safe.

My guess would be most assault with deadly weapons are gun related and that stat was this week 1/14-1/19. Things seem off lately.. they also reported in the media 59 South LA shooting victums in the first 2 weeks of this year. If speculation are correct that means the anount of crime activity is sky rocketing like a mofo
You’re making up the stats in Compton for whatever reason, 25 murders in Compton in 12 days never happened, in this decade at least. However, it does seem like there were 25 or so within the past 12 Months seems like it happened, according to the LA times.

Yeah, I also find 25 for tiny Compton difficult to believe. LAPD finally updated the Compstat numbers for Los Angeles through 1/16/21 and as everyone knows, it’s been an ugly start to the year.
