Where do you get NYC at 33? No way. Compstat has 17 for the year, and 33 for the 28 day period..which goes back to last year. I think you confused the two.

I think nyc has more than 17. There have 4 murders including one today that happened since you wrote 17 the last time.
NYC is not at 33. Read my post above. The number is 17 from the last compstat update.
