Columbus is at 9 now.

I am actually shocked. That is almost more than Philadelphia which is nearly twice its size.

That is extremely bad this early into the year. I hope this month is an outlier for Columbus

I think 3 of those were from medical emergencies related to it but can’t be attributed to anyone, wouldn’t really call those homicides even if related.

The 3 were not the "medical emergencies". There were 2 showing up in their data page before any of those events even happened. Someone dying of a heart attack caused by some event like what happened the other day is still not "homicide."
