Drug market? This isn't the 90's nobody is fighting over drug territory outside of K&A. A lot of the homicides aren't over drugs or even money, it's over petty territorial and social media beefs.

An 18 year old male is now charged for the murder of the 7 year old girl killed at the McDonalds' drive-thru on the west side. Others are still on the loose, but finally something going right.

Dallas
HOMICIDE - 83 (2020 = 56)
MURDER & NONNEGLIGENT MANSLAUGHTER - 68 (2020 = 51)
NEGLIGENT MANSLAUGHTER - 12 (2020 = 0)
JUSTIFIABLE HOMICIDE - 3 (2020 = 5)

Recent
04-24-2021 01:46 - 7171 American Way - B/M, 38 - Shot during a robbery at a car wash.
04-25-2021 02:10 - 3435 Webb Chapel Ext - L/M - Shot at listed location.
04-25-2021 23:43 - 4307 Duncanville Rd - B/F, 54 - Bystander shot during a street racer intersection takeover/sideshow.

Shootings are down from the highs during November, December & January, but are still higher than any other previous month in the last 21 years. A high number of shootings are also being incorrectly coded to help keep the overall stats down.

Canada's problem isn't homicide, but COVID. Impressively low number of vaccinations there - just 3% of Canadians fully vaccinated vs. 29% of Americans.
